Hello,
a bit about me:
I love telling stories. Here's mine.

I thought I wanted to be an obstetrician. But in eigth grade, I saw blood at a hospital and ended up on the cold floor. So I decided media would be a more appropriate--and safe--career for me.

My professors at both the Columbia School of Journalism and Stanford University prepared me well for this career; so too has my time at NBC Bay Area, KGET, NBC News and work-related experiences as a White House intern in the Office of First Lady Michelle Obama.

My greatest pride is not getting the story; it’s knowing people feel comfortable enough with me to share their experiences and feelings.

Mothers have held teddy bear-decorated urns while trying to explain the pain of losing a child, and a twenty-something year old woman joined me at the pool where she nearly drowned while having a heart attack. A teen mom told me about her mom’s change of heart just hours before a forced abortion appointment, and hotel guests recounted waking up to snipers and swat teams swarming the grounds looking for a shooting suspect.
Everyone has a story. I'm grateful people choose me to help share it.

I'm interested in reporting, TV show hosting, event speaking, and production opportunities.
